From NOW Albums to Themed Music Shows
When Decades of NOW first launched, Mark’s idea was simple but wonderfully nostalgic.
To celebrate more than four decades of the iconic Now That’s What I Call Music! series, he selected one NOW compilation album from each decade every week.
During each two-hour programme, Mark played a selection of tracks from those albums, bringing back memories of the music that filled our record collections, cassette players and CD shelves.
However, as the show evolved, so did the format!
Today, Decades of NOW has expanded into a series of themed music shows, giving Mark the freedom to explore an even wider range of songs, artists and musical styles.
The result? A fresh musical adventure every week!

One of the things that makes Decades of NOW so enjoyable is its variety.
Rather than following the track listings of individual compilation albums, Mark now builds each programme around a particular musical theme.
Previous editions have explored everything from Motown and Soul to Soft Rock and Power Pop, alongside special programmes celebrating the music of particular years.
