Two Hours of Rock Music Every Sunday
The RockMeister Sunday Rock Show gives Gordon two full hours to share his love of rock music.
Unlike his weekday Rock Fix at Six programmes, which each follow a particular format, the Sunday Rock Show celebrates rock music more broadly.
After all, there’s an enormous world of rock music to enjoy. From the sounds of earlier decades to the many styles that have developed over the years, rock has an incredible history.
And Gordon has spent a lifetime enjoying it!
Gordon’s musical journey began in 1969 when he bought his first single, Sugar Sugar by The Archies.
However, everything changed when his best friend gave him Deep Purple’s Burn for his eighteenth birthday.
That was the moment Gordon became a lifelong rocker!
Since then, his enthusiasm for collecting music has never faded. In fact, over the decades, he built a collection of more than 6,000 albums.
Meanwhile, Gordon also developed a lasting love of radio broadcasting.
His experience includes more than 25 years with Sunshine Radio on the Isle of Wight. He also spent eight years broadcasting with Vectis Radio before taking his programmes to other stations.
Today, he shares that experience and musical enthusiasm with listeners on Rocking Fox Radio.
