When Doc Rock hits the microphone, the blast furnace ROARS!

A Passion for Hard Rock and Heavy Metal

For Doc Rock, it’s about more than simply turning up the volume.

Behind the screaming guitars, earthshaking drums and riffs that land like a ten-ton hammer lies a clear mission: champion the bands, connect the fans and keep rock ‘n’ roll burning.

Doc celebrates the legends who helped forge the sound of hard rock and heavy metal. However, he’s equally passionate about discovering the musicians who are keeping that spirit alive today.

As a result, his programmes combine established favourites with fresh releases, independent artists and exciting new discoveries.

Supporting Bands and Connecting Fans

Doc Rock believes great music deserves to be heard.

That’s why he puts independent musicians in the spotlight and introduces listeners to bands they might otherwise miss.

Meanwhile, interviews with musicians offer another way to connect fans with the people behind the music.

From a legendary anthem to the first spin of your next favourite band, Doc brings enthusiasm and energy to everything he plays.

His passion reaches beyond the studio, too. This is music for the fans at the front rail, the bands hauling their own gear and everyone who still gets chills when the opening riff kicks in.
